Behind The Sparkle
At the heart of Sparkle & Sass Events is its founder, Kate Ball — a global HR and events leader turned experience architect. With more than two decades shaping culture and engagement for organizations across industries, Kate has orchestrated everything from international conferences and leadership summits to blood drives, fundraising initiatives, wine festivals, intimate retreats and unforgettable celebrations.
Her track record speaks for itself: she created Amazon’s Got Talent, a global talent competition that drew more than 250,000 participants; produced Amapalooza, a three-day conference spanning 27 countries and 485 locations; and led countless culture-building programs that reached employees around the world.
But Kate’s impact doesn’t stop at the corporate level. She is also the President of Brits in Seattle, a thriving expat social club; President of The Girl Gang, a 5,000+ member women’s network; and the founder of beloved community traditions such as Pinehurst’s annual snowman-building competition. Whether designing for hundreds of thousands or a single neighborhood, her talent lies in creating experiences that spark connection and endure.
That blend of global expertise and community heart is what makes Kate’s vision unique. She founded Sparkle & Sass Events to prove that business gatherings don’t have to be stiff, and personal celebrations don’t have to be predictable. They can be smart and sparkly, strategic and sassy, flawless in detail yet full of personality.
